Thanks for joining the new list! — Rush Week Events
Monday, August 22nd, 2005

Hi guys,

Thank you for joining the new Crusade List. We are still in the process of moving everything mailing-list related to the new website. We should have everything finalized by this weekend.

I wanted to update you with what has been going on with Crusade. We have a number of events going on this week. Tonight (Monday) at 7:00 PM, we are serving free pizza — in the freshman quad on east campus and in front of Fitten on west campus. Come on out and join us tonight!

Tomorrow (Tuesday), we are having a volleyball tournament. It will start at 6:00 PM — for those on east campus, it will be held at Glenn Hall, on west campus, at the end of the CRC Fields (near 8th street apartments). Sign up today online at www.crusadegt.org. Just click on tuesday on the calendar!

Wednesday, we are having a concert in Yellow Jacket Park. The band NorthSouth ( http://www.northsouthband.com ) is playing. Come on out at 4:30 PM for some good music.

Thursday night will be Real Life. For this week only, we are having it outside at the Campanile. We are starting at 8:00 PM, but feel free to show up early to meet some cool people.

D-Group signups have also begun. We are in the process of gathering all the D-Groups and times together and will update the website. Check back for an updated list later on this week.

I hope your first day of classes went well.

What Sunday Night is about
Sunday, August 21st, 2005

Tonight will be the first time that we will be able to meet a lot of the freshman. We have had a great response through FASET and other “rush” events and expect to have a lot of freshman show up. All of these things will take place on the Skiles Lawn.

6:45
Chance to buy shirts ($8)

7:00
Chance to find out what we believe God wants to do on our campus this year. This s not a planning meeting, but a time of coming together and rallying behind our vision of every student. This will be a great momentum starter as we head into the new semester.

8:00
Praise and Worship with Ice Cream afterwards. This will be the first oppurtunity for freshman to sign up for d-groups. I know there are a lot of you who are involved in Rush stuff, but we would love for you to stop by and meet people around 9:00.
